Sashing is a 1.5 to 3 inch border around every shirt in the quilt. Sashing especially enhances a quilt when many of the shirts are the same color. We sash ALL our quilts (unless you would prefer that we don’t – just ask!) because we believe it creates a higher-quality, sturdier, more attractive quilt. You can choose the sashing color from our choices for backing fleece (we use the same colors) or send in your own fabric with your shirts.
